What to Expect for the Dublin Racing Festival 2025

Thus far, we’ve briefly looked at the different events planned for the Dublin Racing Festival, and with so many different races to look forwards to, it’s easy to see why people are already pretty hyped. But what are the odds looking like for each of the races?

February 1st 2025 – Day One

For the first day of the Dublin Racing Festival 2025, there are three main events to look forwards to. These include the following:

  • Solicitors Novice Hurdle: With Final Demand being the favourite for race one of the Dublin Racing Festival 2025, odds of 13/8 are offered up by Bet365, although Supersundae isn’t so far behind at 9/2.
  • Irish Arkle: Majborough leads the way on odds for the Irish Arkle, with Bet365 offering 4/6 at present. The 5-year-old gelding’s recent races include three hurdles and a chase, in which he won two of the former plus the latter. 
  • Irish Gold Cup: Matching many of the other favourites, Galopin des Champs is the current firm favourite for the Irish Gold Cup, with odds of ⅔ offered by Unibet, 8/11 with BoyleSports, and 4/6 with many other bookies.

February 2nd 2025 – Day Two

Heading into day two of the festival, a selection of four races offers plenty of opportunities for racing enthusiasts to enjoy. These include:

  • Ladbrokes Novice Chase: Overall, the favourite for the Ladbrokes Novice Chase is Ballyburn, a 7-year-old gelding that currently enjoys odds of 10/11 with Bet365. Given his excellent form over both chases and hurdles during the past few years, winning seven of his last nine races (and coming second in the remaining two), he’s a clear winner in the makings.
  • Ireland Novice Hurdle: Unibet currently leads the way for odds on the Ireland Novice Hurdle, with Kaid D’authie proving the current pick of the bunch at 9/4.
  • Dublin Chase: With fifteen runners in total, the strong favourite is Gaelic Warrior, odds falling at 4/6 with Bet365.
  • Irish Champion Hurdle: For the final event of the Festival, Lossiemouth is looking set to round out proceedings as the favourite for the Irish Champion Hurdle, at odds of 11/10 currently with 888Sport.

There’s plenty on the cards to be excited about in the horse racing world.
