Men’s and Women’s Favourite for Wimbledon – Bookmaker’s Odds

Wimbledon is undoubtedly the biggest tennis event in the world, with the 2024 Championships seeing more than half a million guests attending in total (before even considering TV viewership!) Following this thought, it’s safe to say that the 2025 season should be just as well received – and today, we’re exploring which of the current competitors are touted to be the top picks for the Men’s and Women’s 2025 favourite.

Who are the Men’s and Women’s Favourites for Wimbledon 2025?

The Men’s and Women’s Championships for Wimbledon 2025 will soon be here, and to this end, many people are now starting to look at how the rankings lie. However, things aren’t overly clear at present, and there’s currently a lot of uncertainty regarding which of the main players are likely to be the favourite overall.

Dual Favourites for the Men’s Championships

For the Men’s Championships, the bookies currently seem to be struggling to pick between two major players to decide on their overall winner. Indeed, both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have odds of around 6/4 (2.5) across almost all of the major bookies, including Bet365. Since most of the major bookies have the two at identical odds, with the offered odds regularly shortening and lengthening marginally, it’s safe to say they really can’t make their minds up on which is more likely!

That said, Unibet is currently marginally more confident in Sinner, offering odds of 6/4 (2.5) for him to win versus Alcaraz at 17/10 (2.7). However, with such rapidly changing odds, this could very well change again by the time the final match starts.

Favourite for the Women’s Championship

The Women’s Championship favourite is currently a lot clearer than the Men’s, with Aryna Sabalenka boasting the shortest odds by a pretty long shot. Indeed, Bet365 and Unibet are offering odds for her to win of 11/4 (3.75) and 9/4 (3.25), respectively; in contrast, the next closest contender, Elena Rybakina, is sitting at odds of 5/1 (6.0) and 9/2 (5.5) with the two bookies.

Final Thoughts

The men’s and women’s favourites for Wimbledon 2025 are changing rapidly, with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner roughly tied for the men’s favourite, and Aryna Sabalenka strongly up there in the top spot for the women’s event. However, anything could happen, and the bookies’ current uncertainty regarding odds certainly seems to support this assumption.
