Title Odds Revealed: The Irish Bookmakers’ Top Picks for the New Premier League Season

The Premier League season is right around the corner and the bookmakers are in agreement that Liverpool remain the team to beat this year.
The current Premier League champions have emerged as the early favourites as they are 7/4 with Bet365 and Ladbrokes and 6/4  with BetVictor  to go and reclaim their crown this year.
Manchester City sit just behind Liverpool in the odds, offered at around 3/1 with Ladbrokes and 10/3 with Bet365 and 7/2 with BetVictor to go on and win the title for the seventh time in the last nine seasons.

Right up there with the big two are Arsenal, as although they have not won the league since 2004, they are still seen as a team that are on the cusp of success once again.
The Gunners are currently 9/4 with Bet365, BetVictor and 12/5 with Ladbrokes  to end their more than 20 year hunt for the title.
Just behind the three of them in the eyes of the bookmakers are Chelsea. Bet 365 and Ladbrokes currently have them at 9/1 to win the league, while BetVictor have them priced at 7/1.
If you venture further out you can find Manchester United in at 28/1 with Bet365 and Newcastle at 33/1 with Ladbrokes – although both prices could drop drastically if any of the two clubs manage to secure the services of Benjami Sesko this summer.
As more of an outside bet you can find the likes of Aston Villa at 100/1 with BetVictor or Brighton at 250/1 with Bet365, but one thing is for sure, new singings are going to play a huge part in who takes the title come what May.
Manager Arne Slot’s side have already added the likes of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike and with rumours of Alexander Isak coming as well this could tip them over the edge once again in what promises to be a tight-run campaign this year.
Meanwhile, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola City managed to get most of their business done pre World Club Cup in July.
The club has undergone notable changes with the departures of Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker, but new signings such as Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki offer promise.
They can also call upon the return of Rodri from a season ending injury as a new signing and one which will only add to their talent available in the middle of the park.
Manager Mikel Arteta has once again added to his squad this summer with midfield additions like Martín Zubimendi and Christian Nørgaard as well as bringing in striker Viktor Gyökeres in the one place the Gunners needed to strengthen the most – up-front.
João Pedro, Jarrel Hato, Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Estêvão bring fresh energy to the Chelsea squad this summer in their bid to win the Premier League once again while Manchester United have already added Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, before Sesko was even mentioned, as they look to reintroduce themselves among the powerhouses in the league.
Whatever happens with the Premier League the rich have got richer in terms of squad depth and squad talent and that means that the race should be one for the ages this season – and one that any of four or five teams could walk away from with the title in their hands.
